Trade shows scheduled in the first half of 2020 cancelled

The COVID 19 pandemic and its impact on marketing activities.

The health situation has been worsening more and more each day in Italy and gradually in the other countries as well. Trade shows scheduled in the first half of 2020 have been postponed to the next months, which has caused uncertainty and inconvenience to the companies already registered as exhibitors.

Below are the trade shows which have been rescheduled.

  • MECSPE in Parma has been postponed from 26-28.3.2020 to 18-20.6.2020.
  • HANNOVER MESSE in Hannover has been postponed from 20-24.4.2020 to 12-16.4.2021
  • METALLOOBRABOTKA in Moscow has been postponed from 25-29.5.2020 to 10-14.8.2020.

Considering MECSPE’s new dates, by 18th April 2020, companies can decide whether to cancel their registration for this year’s edition and take part in next year’s edition, for which they have already paid a deposit, or confirm their participation while waiting for the organisers to confirm or cancel the staging of the event. CAMSER’s member companies have already decided to call off their participation in METALLOOBRABOTKA trade show and the Consortium has already sent to the organisers all the necessary documents to cancel its member companies’ registration. It seems that the international economic situations has been undermined. CAMSER will strive to support its member companies by organising alternative marketing activities in order to ensure companies’ visibility at an international level.
